The ranch has a gentle roll, the highest point being near the home and it gradually rolls down to the river bottom. A majority of the ranch has scattered young growth cedar and mesquite.

wildlife- The property supports white-tailed deer populations, feral hogs, dove, turkey, and, not to mention, varmints and non-game species.

agriculture- The ranch is currently used as a cattle ranch.

improvements- Sitting on the highest point sits an old farmhouse in fair shape. Part of it was built in 1954, and it was added on in 2002, totaling 1632 sq. ft. of living space. It has a great feel to it and still has the original hardwood floors. Due to the sizes of the surrounding ranches, you see very few rooftops scattered about in the surrounding countryside. It feels very private even though it is so close to Austin.

water- The ranch home has a water well that feeds the house and several water troughs around the home for the cattle. The surrounding ranches have water wells between 300-400 ft ranging from 25-55 GPM. The North Fork San Gabriel river traverses a portion of the property. It is a wet weather section of the river. There are several small pools along the river worth exploring. It is lined with tall Elm trees, which are beautiful in the fall as they change colors. There are three ponds on the ranch as well.
